After a particularly bad flair up of IT Band Syndrome I visited Suzie for a sports massage. She was able to very quickly assess the issue and identify areas that needed particular attention; I especially appreciated how she continued to communicate with me throughout the massage to check on comfort levels, modify pressure and keep track on progress.
As a result of the massage I gained a lot of movement and flexibility straight away. I would highly recommend Suzie to anyone considering a sports massage as she has great deal of knowledge, puts you at ease throughout the process and is very in tune with your responses and needs.
Suzie Rae has helped me enormously this year to reach my goals - I wanted to get fitter, lose weight and gain the confidence to join a gym. Frequently Asked Questions
Can you train me at my own home or do you have your own studio?
I have an air conditioned studio in Hildenborough where I work from with a wide range of equipment including a spinning bike, suspension trainers, battle ropes, kettlebells, free weights, balance trainers, plyometric boxes and more.
What can I expect from a session?
I pride myself on making all my sessions individualised and different from the previous session! I find my clients love this variety. All sessions will be tailored towards your fitness, preferences and goals. Expect to be worked hard but within your limits using a wide variety of exercises!
Do I need to have an initial consultation before I start training with you?
Yes. All new clients are required to have an initial consultation. This is where I get to know you so I am able to design you a personalised programme based around your goals, preferences, fitness level and any special circumstances you might have such as an injury or pregnancy. We will run through a series of fitness, posture and range of movement tests as well as taking measurements. These all provide points for measuring progress!
Do you charge extra for nutritional guidance and a diet plan?
As part of your initial consultation, I will do a full diet questionnaire with you and then follow this up with a series of recommendations in an email. If you would like on-going diet advice, I can provide a food diary for you to fill in and give to me each week. I will then look at this and give recommendations based on it. This is included in your session price. If you would like a more detailed diet plan there will be an additional cost.

Having studied Nutritional Therapy at university level for 2 years and qualifying as a Dietary Analyst in 2005, Suzie is able to provide workable advice around your eating habits. No quick fix fad diets here! More long-term sustainable changes that work for you and your family.
If you would like to work with a personal trainer in a group setting then come along to the SunRay bootcamp. Mondays 7.30pm (April to September only) and Thursdays 9am in Hildenborough. Great value class passes available at £25 for 6 sessions or £40 for 10. No sergeant major type shouting here, just good fun and hard work in a friendly and welcoming group setting.

Sports Massage Therapy
Suzie is a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist and can provide treatments to address muscle tightness, imbalances, restricted mobility pain and discomfort. Sports massage is beneficial to a wide range of people, not just athletes, as it helps correct the muscle imbalances that so often cause discomfort and, ultimately, injury.
